Biography I am an associate professor at the University of La Frontera (Temuco, Chile). Before that I had postdoc positions at the University of Bergen (Norway), at the University of Göttingen (Germany), at Supélec (Paris-Sud University, France) and at École Polytechnique (France). I completed my Ph.D. thesis at the University of Bergen, under the supervision of Irina Markina and Alexander Vasi'ev. For the past decade or so I have been studying differential geometry. Mostly I have been interested in problems related to sub-Riemannian geometry and geometric control theory. This has led me quite often to be concerned with algebraic problems, typically related to Lie theory. |
