Biografía
Profesora Titular del Departamento de Matemática y Estadística de la Universidad de La Frontera y Directora del Centro de Excelencia Geometría en la Frontera. Obtuvo su doctorado en matemática en Columbia University en 1981 y ha desarrollado una destacada trayectoria académica y científica en el ámbito de la geometría compleja. Sus líneas de investigación se centran en grupos Fuchsianos, superficies de Riemann y variedades abelianas, contribuyendo al desarrollo de la investigación matemática y a la formación de nuevas generaciones de investigadores e investigadoras en Chile.
